PIEP NCR welcomes Polytechnic University of the Philippines Environmental Planning Society (PUP EPSoc) to its Junior Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (JPIEP) umbrella program. PUP EPSoc has since renamed itself as JPIEP-PUP.

JPIEP-PUP President Mark Louise Eligio and OIC Dean of PUP’s College of Architecture, Design, and the Built Environment, concurrent Program Chair of Environmental Planning, and Chapter Vice President Dr. Ibylou Bandala-Golla were on hand during the formal presentation of JPIEP-PUP’s admission. Chapter President Jayson Edward San Juan, Chapter Auditor Dr. Edgar Chavez; and Immediate Past Chapter President (IPP) Alvaro Fabon Jr. represented PIEP NCR.

Before the formal presentation, IPP Al Fabon, who is also a Maxwell-certified leadership coach and facilitator, conducted a lecture-workshop on leadership in the environmental planning profession.

JPIEP-PUP joins Miriam Environmental Planning Organization – JPIEP as the pioneering student affiliate organizations of the Institute.
